Data Analyst
Role: Data Analyst
Only candidates with Wine and Spirits experience will be considered.
Reports to: Finance Director

Role:
Responsibilities will include composing standard reports in addition to ad hoc recaps to support the US operations of Armand de Brignac Champagne brand in a fast-paced working environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working intimately with data (Excel, data manipulation, statistical analysis), as well as an eagerness to work in the Wine & Spirits industry.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director to communicate data-driven insights to internal and external partners in a digestible way.
- Analyze social media, press, and consumption data for ad-hoc requests on clients and major events.
- Compose standardized weekly and monthly reports.
- Help develop reporting frameworks and templates, client deliverables, sales, and depletions reports.
- Determine which insights are most impactful and significant for colleagues and clients.
- Assist in acting as a point person for all 3rd party data partners and be intimately familiar with key dashboards and products within the company.
Data Infrastructure & Education:
- Help develop processes and best practices around reporting.
- Assist in acting as a point person for all 3rd party data partners and be intimately familiar with key dashboards and products within the company.
- Effectively communicate data insights and processes to internal and external partners with varying familiarity around data.
- Help lead awareness of new products, approaches, and trends in the data & technology space.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
Requirements:
- High level of analytical ability.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.).
- Comfortable analyzing raw data and extracting actionable insights.
- Must have experience creating visualizations that help deliver insights in a digestible way.
- Highly detail-oriented with an emphasis on data integrity and finding interesting callouts.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Capable of quickly adapting to dynamic situations and working independently.
- Experience working in Wine & Spirits industry is a plus.
- Experience with VIP/ iDig, Park Street’s Navigator system, Nielsen, and NABCA consumer data is a plus.
Workplace:
This position is not remote. Must be willing to be in NYC office 5 days/week.
Salary and compensation
$110,000 - $140,000 per yearBenefits
